Nokia has released Maemo (N900) and will release soon a compatible new version, MeeGo (N9) devices, they're both using GNU/Linux and making Prey work with them would be very easy, and great!

It would be very nice if I could trigger a remote wipe of the user-data (or perhaps all the data) to prevent that sensitive data is getting into the wrong hands.

Rather than giving users an either/or choice of emailing results to an inbox or accessing the reports from the control panel, it would be nice to have reports sent to an email address while having devices managed through the control panel.

It would be nice to delete all of my reports at once rather than going through each one individually.

I tested this on my hp laptop. The webcam light would turn on every time it took a photo. So it was telling the user that someone had access to the webcam. Letting the thief know that they’re being watched. Can this be fixed.

Is it possible to hide the Prey icon from my android phone so would be thieves would not know that I have this program installed?

Would like this to update my twitter/facebook status w/ pictures and maybe geo-location as well as a message to all my friends that my laptop is missing and for them to be on the lookout. Must be optional and configurable.

In this way, the community could quickly create new custom "checks" to help determine the location of your laptop. This would come in handy for custom requests like a certain built-in GPS or other things specific to your individual laptop. It could then place the output file(s) (.txt, .jpg, .mp3, etc) in a specific "prey watched" folder and prey could upload them and provide links to each on the control panel. If that's too much server load, then we can just have the files attached to an email and use the built in SMTP functionality of prey.

Please Provide an rpm Package for Prey. So all the OpenSuse and Fedora Guys can install Prey as easily like the Ubuntu ones :)

When "Go Prey" is sent to an Android phone with Prey installed, that phone must have an internet connection some sorts for the actions to occur.
Currently if the phone has no internet connection (through WiFi or GPRS/3G), nothing happens.
This features would make the phone lock when the "Go Prey" text message is received regardless of if there is an internet connection available.

This would make it a lot more convenient to update the package for Ubuntu users, and would require minimum effort from your side.

Like a car alarm you should create a small sticker for sale (~$0.99) to warn thieves that Prey is on your device. The sticker should not be any bigger than that like an Intel i7 or Win7 sticker that you typically find on computers.

Peer to Peer Streaming abilitys. Such as webcam streaming Or fast screenshoting for multiple pictures. So it appears to be a video once all pictures are combined. or maybe a key logger to view keystrokes

Presumably Prey got killed before finishing and didn't clean up. This shouldn't prevent Prey from running the next time. I guess one line in one of the scripts will fix this
